After the confetti descends at the 2015 World Championship, we’ll head into the offseason with players around the world setting their sights on our last international event of the year. The 2015 All-Star Event (ASE) will bring the unexpected to the Rift featuring a clash of the regions, epic 1v1 matches, fan-voted comps, fun game modes, and mixed region roster showdown.

As we announced earlier this year, we’re hosting two large-scale international tournaments outside of Worlds. Before Summer Split, there was the intense and competitive Mid-Season Invitational which hit Tallahassee in May. After Worlds, we’ll be hosting the All-Star Event, a new exhibition at the NA LCS Studio in Los Angeles from December 10-13. The ASE will bring beloved players from around the world together, all in a revamped “theatre-in-the-round” studio layout to accommodate more fans than ever before.

Evolving from 2014’s All-Star voting format, fans will vote in five players to represent their regional "dream teams" for the NA LCS, EU LCS, LCK, LPL, and LMS this year. With IWC’s top team added to the mix, these six teams will be assigned to Team Fire or Team Ice based off their region’s performance at Worlds. The teams will battle for fame, fun, and player rewards for their region. Want to send Rush Hour or see Sneaky Bunny represent the NA LCS? Global voting will open in November and we’ll share more information about how to cast your votes when we get closer to the event.

The International Wild Card teams will also be getting in on the ASE action, just as they participated in MSI and Worlds. Before the All-Star Event, there will be the first ever International Wild Card All-Star which will be held in Australia in November. The winners of this tournament will represent IWC at the ASE. We’ll share more details about this new event soon.

We look forward to welcoming stars from Leagues around the world to Los Angeles in December to close out the year in style. Want to join us in the studio? We’ll be sharing ticket information in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

    International Wildcard Qualifiers

    1. Bangkok Titans

    WHAT ARE THEY PLAYING FOR?
In addition to international pride and glory, teams are competing for the chance to be the 2015 World Champions, the Summoner's Cup, and a prize pool of over $2,000,000 USD. Teams will earn prize money based on their finish in the event.

    • World Champion - $1,000,000 USD
    • 2nd place - $250,000 USD
    • 3rd / 4th place - $150,000 USD
    • 5th - 8th place - $75,000 USD
    • 9th - 12th place - $45,000 USD
    • 13th - 16th place - $25,000 USD
    TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Worlds is played out in two stages: A Group Stage followed by a Knockout Stage.

    Group Stage

There are four groups comprised of four teams each, and a number of rules that dictate which teams can be in which groups.

The above graphic illustrates the core policy about group distribution. Each group may only have one team from any given region (no two teams from the same region will play in Groups). The No. 1 seeds from NA, EU, CN, and KR will be in different groups, and other teams are distributed based on perceived and historical strengths.

The exact placements will be determined by random draw. The Group Draw Show will take place September 12, at 1pm (-5 GMT) Pacific Time or 22:00 (+1 GMT) Central European Time. You can find out exactly who your favorite teams will be playing in the Groups then.

The format of the Group Stage is a Best of 1, double Round Robin -- this means each team in a group plays all other teams in that group twice. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated.

    Knockout Stage

The Knockout Stage is also colloquially referred to as the Bracket Stage. At this stage, the event changes to a Single Elimination bracket. The top two teams from each Group are placed in the Quarterfinals based on their Group finish.

Additionally, in the Knockout Stage, the format changes to Best of 5 matches instead of the Best of 1s from the Group Stage. However, similar to the Group Stage, there are some rules that regulate which teams can play each other in the Quarterfinals and Semifinals.

No two teams from the same group can be placed on the same half of the bracket (meaning, they would not play until the Finals). In addition, each Quarterfinal will feature one No. 1 seed and one No. 2 seed from Groups. This organization rewards the higher seeds for their performance in the Groups, and prevents rematches before the Finals.

Using this guide, the teams will be matched up randomly.

The winner of the Knockout Stage will be crowned our 2015 World Champion!

    HOW CAN I WATCH?
The Group Stage is broken up over the course of two weekends. The Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals will all be held a week apart from one another. Tickets are sold out for now, but we will be releasing additional tickets for Worlds in the future. Check back to this post and lolesports for details. If you aren't able to grab a ticket and don't have one, it's okay! We'll still bring the event to you online throughout October.

All groups are very hard, but I we'll see the most action in group C, I feel kinda bad for H2K because they don't have big chances of getting through EDG or SKT... From group D I think KT might come on top, while in group B Fnatic is going to have a rough time facing ahq/invictus gaming... I think group A is the "easiest" one, though I'm not sure whether KOO or CLG will come on top.

I totally agree with u about H2K, but from what i wastch, EDG wast rly good, they make errors that can be explioted.
I think that Fnatic will be 1st, cant say anything about AHQ, because i didnt watch them much.
CLG should be 1st if they get use to new jungler, Xmithie have Visa problems so he cant play.
And am rly looking forward to Origen vs TMS

If TSM plays like they played against CLG they're gonna have a rough time definitively, also they have got into really hard group, but I think CLG just might make it.
