Mount and Blade Warband

I think it is a great game. I've only done single player so far, which is really hard and slow to level up in, but it is a great game nonetheless. I've seen some online gameplay videos on youtube and they look really exciting.

Anyone else here know about this game and play this game?

 

I like this game a lot (one of my favourite games). I played only in singleplayer so far. Rhodoks and nords are my favourite factions, they are so hard to beat in open battle. Let`s discuss about this game, if you want ofc.

I don't know about the crashy bit, seems stable to me. I admit it is hard at times, especially the beginning. You need to train and recruit troops as fast as you can. Start by leveling up in taking on some small rebel armies in the beginning. Personally I like the Swadians the best. They have great cavalry. The Rhodoks have the best archers and the Nords the best infantry with the best shields.

The really difficult bit are the sieges, if you are too slow to rebuild troop levels, you may capture the castle or town, but you will be unable to hold it. Though there are some tricks on holding the castle or town. Get a big shield and good sword and block off the entrance and start pounding away whenever they come up the ladder. I once destroyed a 100 man army that way.

 

At beggining also you should try to find around 1000-1200 gold and participate a tournament... If you win (which is not really hard) you'll get a good amount of money to be able to improve your gear. And then just continue building up your troops. ^^ That's all there is to it.

On the other hand if you want to take over a castle I think that the best people to do it are the Nords cause they have the best infantry in game which is, well, very important when you're about to siege a castle.

 

Oh man, played every expansion of that game, really gives me the best feeling... perfeect <3

I think this is uniqe game because you can be anything pesent or king its doesnt metter game is fun and its like u are in middle age.Wars horses swords battles rly a uniqe game.What do you think of it?

Very good game when i played it i was working for Swadia and had one of the best soldiers there .....

Did anybod try this new mod Vikings conqest. The mod is great a big map with a lot more factions. It has a sandbox gamemode like every m&b. But I really like that storyline mode it is epic!! Try it out you won't regret it!
