    for me its that I know they care about and play the game themselves there's always something in the works for next week be it a fix in response to the public reports of unbalance/suggestions or new content to grind down.

    The best thing about AQ3D devs is that they respond to players, like on Twitter. Most game developers don't interact with players like how the AQ3D devs do.

    AE's ingame staff in general has greatly improved over the years. Some players might have a sour taste against the mods for doing their job but it's very easy to avoid getting muted or banned and people who say they've been falsely punished are hiding something.

    I remember there was a time on AQW (2009-2011) where the staff members rarely showed any personality, most of them were strict and serious all the time and some of them were even mean.

    If you ever saw Artix or J6 ingame back in the day they used canned chat phrases to respond to people. It was pretty funny :D
