Anyone tried Weightlifting or building muscle over breaks?

    Well, I'm currently building muscle over summer break. I do weightlifting about 1 hour a day, and take picture of my progress. I am just wanting to know if anyone here tries to do the same in getting fit?
     
  2. Well I do lift some dumbbells occasionally. I used to lift dumbbells a lot maybe three years ago. I'm not really into weightlifting or building muscles as much because my arms do become sore after too much lifting resulting in lactic acid build-up.

    I've gone to the gym during summer break back in college. It was about two months, almost everyday depending on the fatigue. You could actually see the difference, however going back to school took up all my time so had to stop. Havent gone back ever since, only occassional jogging and lifting with my dumbbells at home.
     
  10. One thing about weightlifting or building muscles is that you need to eat more, and as a consequence, groceries tend to cost more. Sure, there are health benefits, but I think it's important to weigh in every factor. I think any form of exercise is good, but you shouldn't push the limit and overdo it. It's generally better to maintain moderation.
