That's too many to count for lol, I'd say keep it to a limit of one item.

I would choose a revolver for ranged combat because i really like revolvers and for melee combat i would use a machete or my bare hands.

I would use a sword and a shield. Two most important weapons in a battle.

I think the weapons that kill slowly will be terrible.
Maybe I choose a poisoned arrow or spear.

Now as for weapon types, I think any projectile weapon would win a duel, unless the opponent chooses a projectile weapon as well, then it would be whoever's the quickest to initiate the duel that would win that duel.

I would bring a my trusty AWM and snipe them before they even see me. One shot them in their level three helmet.

Kind of strange how duels were popular in the 1700s and 1800s, but faded out; I've always liked the idea of having a code of honor and dueling to settle a dispute, but I guess that because duels can oftentimes be deadly (especially with swords and guns), that they aren't as popular now. I guess you could find alternatives to settle disputes, like rock paper scissors, or a boxing match; I think boxing has become somewhat popular to setting disputes.

It does make me wonder how alternative outcomes could have turned out. What would America be like today, if Alexander Hamilton won the duel against Aaron Burr and didn't die from Burr's bullet? What mathematical discoveries would advance, if the French mathematician Évariste Galois didn't die at the age of 20 from wounds from his duel?
