    Well...I am pretty biased on this subject.

    I grew up with dogs.
    I love my dogs.
    I'm allergic to cats.
    Cats are more annoying to me...

    Just want to see how the people of GameOgre feel about the K-9s and felines.

    (I have 2 dogs and 2 cats)

    Dogs are much better.
    • they are true companions
    • they adapt to your mood
    • assuming they are well trained, they behave better
    • they serve other purposes (police work, guard dogs, helping the blind)
    • they don't defy you (who's been scratched by a cat before?)

    To be fair, cats:
    • require much less work to take care
    • are fairly "self sufficient" (should you need to be away from home a day or even two)

    But still, anyone that has ever owned both knows that dogs are truly man's (or woman's) best friend. The cat goes to who has food. But they say that even a starving dog wouldn't turn its back on a loving owner. I don't know about you, but that's the pet I want.

    Well my dogs definitely show the starving part when dinner is being served :p.
    Yes we feed our dogs human food =/...but they love it and both my mom and her boyfriend can't say no =p. They also eat dog food, but they get human food at dinner time! They all get human food when they are old enough and have passed their first few months in the house.

    P.S. first human food they all ate was spaghetti. :) Some reason it is a "tradition"

    The problem is that his instincts tell him that he must eat as much food as he can, cause he doesn't know if he will ever get food again.
    Which means he is a greedy little bastard ;)

    All of the pets are great, but I think I'd prefer dogs more. They're mostly loyal, obedient, and won't scratch or bite you. Cats are usually the opposite.
