AQWorlds Anyone?

I play AQWorlds but not so much lately. Well, the game itself is good only too much dependant on microcurrency which is something I cant stand (or afford, precisely xD). You can try AQ3D, 3Dfied version of AQ classic plus some other things (either original content or recolor - you know AE well .. )

 

I've played AQWorlds, but it's not as fun as it used to be. After the 13 Lords of Chaos saga, the game didn't really have any interesting stories that impressed me. I also feel like the art style of the game has changed drastically as well, probably to cater towards newer fans. The game is missing a good sense of nostalgia; on the other hand, I think AE's 3D MMORPG, AQ3D, is doing well by renewing interest for their older fans.

 

I played a aqw from 2008-2009, stopped, and resumed in 2011. Only to then quit later, because, as I believe someone already aforementioned, aqw after the chaos saga became dull to my personal opinion. Don't let that sway you, however (taking this from someone who has spent around 1000+ on it) it became a dress up game to see who was the oldest player and "how many Rares do you have". If you didn't have Rares you weren't able to hang with the "cool kids" at battleon 9392. But hey! It's just a game enjoy it for that and it's all good, make it anything else and it has a negative affect.

Ive heard so much good reviews about AQW. Watched viddys of it too. I say the game gots this goofy story lines that players really liked. The vastness of the game is also 1 thing thats good. But honestly. I would not play it because, personally, i dont want to play another game and i want to focus on 1 game. As much as possible, different genres. 1 for MMORPGs, and a different one for MOBAs, the. Another for Handheld console offline games. C:

 

Partially, though it was mostly a hangout spot for fans of Xyo, a player who used to make AQWorlds videos. The spot has also been used for other things as well like as a PvP meeting spot or some occasional meeting spot.

 

2008 player here. I used to hangout at Zhoom server.

 

Played AQWorlds since Beta Testing in 2008. Don't play anymore though!

 

I will unlock nostalgia quest in 3 month. No more info needed. I love AQW.

I've played this game but i recently stopped. Why? Oh, i dont get the events. There's so many quests and storylines that i dont get and i dont like grinding with the items because im LAZY af. I used to just afk at Yulgarsinn and at Ballyhoo for Gold and ACs ;D

 

I sure have played it, i have played it on and off since 2009 and i have had fun with it, but i haven't played it that much for some time and i might try to be more active on it.

 

Hey , aqw is a cool game with an expanding world and a lot of cool stuff I, personally like their guild system, but in the end(like someone mentioned above) it became sort of like a dress up game and the main point became who had more rates with them.

Aq3d is a 3d version of the same but with different aspects and features, The game is the best MMORPG ever. It’s world and features are ever changing and they add new stuff and maps constantly. The have good graphics, gameplay, switchable classes, cosmetics and I hear there even gonna add trade and a LOT of other cool stuff and classes. It’s a good game, fun and NOT, based on microcurrency, so , it's awesome. Battle on

Most people just AFK these days anyway. You find so many instances of Yulgar's Inn filled with players across almost every server. There are some players that actually play the releases, but most players don't really play the releases since there are an overwhelming amount of them to play through.

The guild system seems unfinished to be quite honest. There's not much you can do with guilds except create your own "social party" with players you're familiar with. New releases and content have increased, but not so much with new game functionalities.
