What rank are you now in Darkhust?

I hope so. I'm wondering how many ranks they'll have in the future. The current ones, albeit time-consuming, are simply tier I ranks. What if tier II is the black ShadowSlayer set and tier III is a class? I think that would be interesting, but I do hope for some variety among the next tiers.

For each locked item in the ShadowSlayer shop, there are about that many quests to go.

 

I do agree that next set should be epic quality considering the fact that 1st set is uncommon quality and 2nd set is awesome quality and next one would logically be epic quality. I would also like that AE increases fang stack limit so you don't have to turn in those quests when you reach 768 fangs like how they did with Defender Medals which stack to 5,000.

 

Keep going at it! You will reach it eventually! I really need to get to farming too because i haven't finished it yet.

 

The ranks are definitely time-consuming. If it takes about 2-3 hours to get 768 Fangs and 20 Blood Fangs, then that's about 14-21 hours of farming since there are 7 of the same, repetitive quests. I'm actually used to all of the grinding in the game, knowing that I've farmed millions of gold before, but the quests aren't for everyone considering the grind.

 

I am glad that i stocked up on Blood Fangs when i was done with Darkovia part 1. They are now pretty handy for ranking quests so i don't have to get them again. Fangs on the other hand i wasn't prepared to stock up so i have to do some fang farming.

Best way I found was constantly running the wolf cheiften dungeon. People are, or were, running it constantly for the stake so you almost always had a full party. Was like an hour per rank.

 

Well farming was fine until Frostval came along. Frostval messed up a lot of the Darkovia farming since Frostval was released less than a week after Darkovia was released. Not really a good choice on the AQ3D team's part, but the team had to release Frostval before the holidays. I just don't see Darkovia regaining its popularity once Frostval's over, so ranking up will be slightly more time-consuming. Not too sure if players are still farming for the Stake weapon while farming for Fangs, but players will still have to farm Blood Fangs which I don't think drop in the dungeon.

I don't think there's any more ranks for ShadowSlayer. W's dialogue implies, to me, the "master" rank is the rank he also currently holds. I also predict that the next Darkovia dives deeper into the vampire and lycan factions, possibly making us rank up for our preferred faction of vampire or lycan.

 

That would be something different from just ranking for Shadowslayer ranks honestly. I can see lycan and vampire ranks becoming a thing for sure!

 

There are probably more; otherwise, there wouldn't be tier numbers. Like what's the "I" supposed to stand for in ShadowSlayer I Master? The next tier will be for ShadowSlayer II (with hopefully the black variant) and maybe tier III is ShadowSlayer class. It makes a lot more sense to think of the ShadowSlayer quests as tiers with titles.

That's fine anyway. The game has too much to do already.

Wouldn't make too much sense to side with vampires or lycans since the hero is really sided with the ShadowSlayers. Vampires and lycans are the enemies.

 

Makes sense. However, it sounds weird to say after Master I you get upgraded to Novice II. If anything they should've made it Novice I, II, III then Apprentice I, II, III and so on.
