AQ3D Battleon attacked by the Frostlorn Raiders!

I think its good that roland is back since i wasnt able to rank up to 20 last time since i was too busy

Not really hyped about the attack thing since im already done with it and the new craftable items are no offence but theyre hella ugly

 

I honestly think the color scheme for the new items could have been chosen a bit better, like a blue and white color scheme. Dark blue on electric blue doesn't really feel holiday-like, especially when winter represents calmness.

Design-wise, the map is great. I actually wish the snow was more white like last year's Battleon since it makes taking screenshots of items look a lot better. The darker color for the snow sort of feels somber in a way.

Now gameplay-wise, I will say that there is a lot of RNG, especially for the bosses. I just hope they don't do waves of monsters like last time for a couple of reasons, because it takes forever to get screenshots of the bosses and because during the last war, the new waves made it more difficult to collect Defender Medals.

 

actually quite happy with the way the medals drop now... it makes it easier to get to level 25 (am going level 24 in a bit from level 14 last time)

 

It does seem easier to farm medals than the last war overall. There's a good drop range for medals from both monsters and the random-spawned ones. I will say that the Elite Defender Medals are quite hard to farm unless you're a Guardian since they're harder to get as drops. Guardians get to convert some Guardian Defender Token to an Elite Defender Medal.

 

Yes took advantage of being a guardian... definitely helped a bit in farming (level 25 now)

Regarding the frost defender set... I dont like it... could've been done better... white with blue trims perhaps? Blue with white trims?

 

i haven't started but i'll finish it i'm most interested in what's new

 

Sleet, Phrozen and Faustbite ... 30 minute respawn ... they all can drop weapons ... staff, cutlass and mace

 

I don't have any of their weapon drops unfortunately; yet, I've encountered all of them before. I just hope the weapons become easier to farm in the upcoming release for the war. I heard they plan to add the other Frostlord Raiders' set, so hopefully those will be craft items.

Yeah, I hope so too. I'm having a torrid time farming for the frozen core blade ... they really shouldn't add low % drop items to limited time events ...

 

is dark defender knight still available at roland?

 

NOt a bad event overall, interested to see where it goes with the part 2 for the war event.

really ? havent seen the dark defender set... only the frost defender one...

 

I don't think the weapons will be included in the craft shop like the staff and cutlass, just the armors and armor pieces. I'll probably choose the Frostlorn Mage set over any other set though since I prefer anything mage.

I haven't seen many people wearing the set, and most people I've spoke to prefer the Frostval collector's set over the Frost Defender set.

 

I find it odd that the Frost Defender has lvl 1 stats for an item that is rank 25. I mean youre inevitably going to become above level 1 by the time you reach that rank. Probably meant to be cosmetic and was an oversight.
