Short weekly events?

Personally, I think it would be great if AE had SHORT weekend events every week that only lasted over the weekend.

Some could be repeated.

Some could only last a day instead of the whole weekend.

Some could be about mass battles.

Some could be about scavenger hunts (i.e., special craft items that required items from all over).

Some could just be a shop with old items (limited time, random shop).

There are so many short duration events that they could add ...

What do you think?

 

Well I worry it would take away the focus of the game since it'll appear common. I think seeing 1-2 new items pop up each week wouldn't be so bad, so long as it doesn't hinder the team or make releases lose their specialty.

 

Hmm. Would you prefer the standard set of events or weekly/fortnightly/monthly events with smaller sets of items. I ok kinda ok with both I suppose, but would tend slightly toward the latter.

 

Yes dude! If I could like your post 1000 times I would, this is what's needed man. I'm itching for some more rare items to be released that can be through crafting quests that don't stay around for too long or special events. It's getting really old having everything seasonal and no real incentive for those of us that want to hunt some exclusive items. The game is still developing so I understand the need for permanent content. But handling rares with care and tossing a few limited events that won't return here and there won't hurt.

 

Well, shortly event every weeks like a war or boss battle will be nice

 

Maybe when the game is more polished they could start doing short weekly releases. Development is already slow as it is I think this would just make things worse.. But I like your idea of scavenger hunts though. They should've done that for the easter event but instead all the monsters the eggs dropped from were easy to guess

 

Maybe the AQ3D could do more live Q&As and games. Many of us want more chances to get pieces of the Golden Direwolf Set.

They are kind of doing short weekly releases in a way though. The World Tree Part 2 was planned for the week, but they added Yellow Moglin Ears and more Cat Ears to the game for people to farm instead.

yeah ... I wish they would focus more resources on AQ3D development ...

 

Yes they could do it but I prefer biggest monthly events
