first successful rare hunt

Me too bro my first rare drop is my travelers pack i really farm that cape a lot even that time i was grinding it keys are consumable in every dungeons in aq3d but after a 3 months of grinding i finally get it with a freind then i realized to my self that it is really fun in aq3d to farm rare stuff becuze it is the only challenging todo in game so far

So you mean you just get frogzard ate my head but you dint farming it thats why you thought that its only just a crafting stuff?

 

It's kind of annoying seeing that drop, because I always want to click on the Frogzard Claw item just because of the gold color, and the Frogzard helm bears the same rarity/quality color as that item. It would be nice, if certain items stop dropping, if you already have that particular item in your inventory (or have max stacks of that item in your inventory); would make farming more smooth, instead of pondering for a second or two when checking the boss's drop. I think the scary part of farming is mistaking A Frogzard Ate My Head as Unenchanted Frogzard Claw as you leave the area, and only realizing your mistake after you've already left the area. It's happened to a lot of players who have rushed through farming.

 

It's not a great sight to see when you are farming for it and then you see an item with orange text and notice that it's not the item you were farming for. When I farm for it, I do look at the loot that Mamazard drops and after looking I get out and do another run. I know that I might miss it so I am careful and check it properly before leaving.

That's what seems to happen, players who are not going for it get it when they don't expect to. That's just how RNG works. When you don't farm for it, it becomes a surprise and when you do farm for it, it becomes a long overdue expectation.

Red dragon plate as I fly wanted when I first saw someone with it so Google the item found who dropped it took me a day an it finally dropped lucky I didn't screenshot it as I gt that WiFi bug after I picked it up

 

It's good that you didn't miss out on looting it. You could share a screenshot of you wearing it to compensate for that.

Ah, the good old Necrohen Hat. How long did it take to get it? How many times did you have to run the Shadowskull Tower dungeon?

 

I dont remember exactly, maybe 30 runs

 

That is a small amount of runs. You get pretty lucky!

 

King ransom quest from doomwood. When all class quests were still available, I always did the necro/pally quest everyday (I have roughly around 15k total token for both class). Till when I was bored, I checked quest tab to see what quest I had and I just realized that king ransom quest was done and idk which day the quest done. Pure luck and ignorance.

 

I had that happen too! After I got the Wooden Key, I stopped paying attention and at some point when I was doing dailies, I checked to see if I had the other key and I did apparently get it but I didn't notice it.

 

My first successful rare hunt was the Vampiric Visage. I wasn't farming for it hardcore, just a few runs helping players get gear from the Bludregen dungeon when i got it. Then i got two more of it within 3 runs of each other...

Then i wished to get 5 of it just for lols... I got them after a few runs a week with a month long break.

Then i thought, "7 Visage for DarkPhoenix777"... Got them in 3 days...

Then i thought that the Crypts must have a higher drop chance for it, because i got most of them from there... So I ran that dungeon to confirm it...

I got 13 Vampiric Visage in total now...

 

I did get lucky with Vampiric Visage as well because I managed to get one while leveling during the time when that content was new. That is a lot of visages and if I had that many, I would hold on to them too.
