AQ3D What race would you play as if we had the power to choose?

    Your player character's race is human, but there are more races in AQ3D than just humans. What race would you play as if we could actually choose any race that is currently in AQ3D? You can also choose a race that isn't in AQ3D yet, but could possibly be added in the future.

    Probably elf. I think when it comes to the high fantasy genre, there are numerous character races that can be imagined: vampires, dwarves, elves, gnomes, werewolves, halflings, orcs, goblins, dragonkins, etc. It would be challenging to accommodate for all of the possibilities since there are a ton.

    It would be refreshing to see new races get added at least for NPCs. We are getting another race when Sandsea comes out by the looks of things.

    Werewolves or humans as of now, but that's just assuming they'd add werewolves.
    Would love to see new races in game in the future.

    We do have werewolves already. Darkovia is literally filled with them just like vampires.

    I would say Wild Boar Tusk counts because it uses the same animation rig and AE could just add a new one that uses a werewolf model instead. Just turning into a werewolf with a temporary travel form isn't the same as choosing to play as a werewolf from the beginning.

    I think I would choose the humans again. The reason for it, I like being real me in games. So since I am not a werewolf or something like that in real life, I would choose humans, as I said. :D

    If the customization options are enough to make that happen, I don't see any reason not to choose that way to go with it.

    Can't really expect much until they update the barber shop, and not just with hairstyles, but actually with more color options. Orange is still not a color option for hair, and there's just not a lot of shades to choose from. Would be better if they just added a color panel with 256^3 color options. That's where customization should begin, before we can expect any customization feature more significant.

    Barber shop needs to get an update for sure. Also, I didn't realize we don't have a orange hair/beard option until you say it. I think it is because I don't visit barber shop at all.

    I could see all the more classic races in this game. Elves, dwarves, orcs, gnomes and halflings. Why not give us more options, keep em all humanoid and it's not too terribly hard to do.

    How would gameplay be affected if you could change your race like you change your class? Unlocking races with tokens. I would like to see things like satyrs, minotaurs, centaurs, leviathans, etc. That would be AWESOME!

    I wouldn't think it would affect gameplay at all, if it's just about looks. I think satyrs, minotaurs, centaurs, leviathans would be too complicated, though, since they have body features, and would require being it's own form. If there's going to be an ability to choose your race, it would probably be tied to facial features for the most part. Would be nice, if items like Sneevil Ears and Vampire Visage were actual character customization options though, rather than their own helm.
