    figured i would bump this up. downloaded league of legends and am really loving it.

    I really recommend it to you if you played DOTA, it's just like it only on steroids.

    The fact that it's balanced. DOTA always seemed like 50% luck and 50% skill to me, plus too much dependency on teammates that were often not too good. LoL definitely allows the more skilled player to shine, and if you are really good you can make a difference, even with a mediocre team. There is still teamwork in LoL, but there's also a sort of independence in it. The two mix well for fantastic gameplay.

    In addition, it is rewarding to win in LoL because you gain experience points which help you gain levels on your profile. Higher levels = more heroes unlocked to play as.
