Stuff like this is always overpriced majorly. Just look at Flash licenses.

You could always use Blender for 3D models and use their framework to program as well. That's free :)

Damn that's expensive... The screenshots don't show a very impressive engine either. Looks like something that could be reproduced with any of the open-source 3D engines out there. Also, the scripting language is apparently 'user-friendly' and based on 'BASIC', which leads me to be biased against it.

Also, this leads to me to wonder, has anyone had experience with a 'complete game creation framework' like this one? Maybe if you've played with something like Unity or Unreal Engine? I just always thought that programming your own framework would be much less costly and would allow you to use the tools of your own choosing instead of having everything provided for you.

You would need to assemble a team before spending that much!

How long would something like that take with a small team using the Realmcrafter?

Any game will still require a good amount of amount of time to make. One exception could be a very basic game by a coder or coders that have plenty of experience.

The idea is great, but the effort people put in making any game is really huge and requires time and money. You have to work on the basic concept for few months before even starting to work on the actual game :)

I wish there was a program that lets you make a game just by typing in all of your ideas:D.
