Is anyone using it currently? I just switched to FF4 a month ago, and I'm trying to decide on whether it's worth changing to the newer version. I've heard it's kind of buggy at the moment, though...

Frownyface! Chrome is better, Firefox is too slow, and takes up too much screen space.

I've been swapping between FF4 and Safari for a while now. FF seems a bit slower, but I'm too lazy to migrate all my bookmarks and passwords and it's really not that bad... XD

    Google Chrome does that automagically.

Maybe it's time to give that a try, then.

How small of a monitor do you have that that itty bitty amount of screen space is a redeeming quality of your web browser of choice?

And besides, Chrome may be faster but Firefox more than makes up for it with its superb add-ons. I used Chrome for about 4 months as my primary browser but it just didn't work out, the extensions are all nowhere near as useful and immerse as FF's are.

Even on larger computers, I don't like the top of the screen to be cluttered. And screen space is ALWAYS important, even if it's only a couple inches.

Even so, you clearly haven't tried out Firefox 4. While it used to take up more screen space, it now takes up the exact same amount as Chrome.. if not less. So it's really a matter of if you want a slight speed increase or the convenience of all your add-ons. That speed may make a difference for some people, but for me, I'll keep my add-ons which probably save me more time than that slight speed increase ever could.

I haven't used firefox in a while since the browser is a little too heavy for my computer...makes me lag sometimes.

    So I just use chrome.

However...already FF5??? they JUST released 4 not too long ago :3

Every time I open up Firefox, it tells me to update to FF5.0. Maybe I'm completely misconstruing it? o_0

Firefox's current version is 5.0.1, Mozilla changed it's release schedule, instead of a big update every year or so they now do smaller incremental updates every couple months... to give an idea Firefox should be up to version 7 by the end of the year.

I might be leaving FireFox. Not sure what is going, but it needs to take a break every twenty or thirty minutes. Sometimes the cursor just spins on my screen for a minute or two.
