Looking for NEW PVP Oriented MMORPG

    preferably without too much computer specs needed. Me and some buddies from WoW are finally getting tired of the game and are looking for a group pvp type game where PVP is the driving force.. dont really care if it has sub par graphics or anything.. i just want a fast paced skill based game (not click click click click) somewhat like wow that is pvp based.. thanks. I also prefer a somewhat -new- game.

    Might not be new, but Conquer Online is good PvP and low spec.

    Ryzom is another game that you guys can consider. That is, if you have yet to find another game that you find works for you. The game is pvp consentual where users decide whether they want to be openly attacked. However, there are areas where people are always open to attack regardless. This is also a fast, skill-based game and the graphics are excellent. Many players actually just sit in the grass and look out at the graphics because they are that worthwhile. Check it out if you haven't found a game that works for you.

    Allods is too full of botters :(

    And try Battlefield Heroes, its a war game with 3 classes, solidier(all around gunman) gunner(tank) and commando(rogue) You can control vehichles like tanks, trucks, and planes, you also get a skill point every 2 levels to get new abilities to help you on the battlefield, like grenade spam, burning bullets, and poisoned blade.

    I don't think Battlefield Heroes would work for him, he said he wants an MMORPG, Battlefield Heroes is a shooter.

    Well, if you are thinking that PvP is your interest then I have a game that you can try out. Ryzom allows you to decide whether you want to engage in consensual PvP or not. So if you are going to enjoy PvP this is the game to do it in. Especially if you join a guild and participate in multi-guild wars for outposts in-game. That's my suggestion. Hope it helps.

    Allods online has good PvP and epic end-game FvF action.

    I hear guild wars is good for that is a one time buy then free for life kind of thing.

    However, if you don't mind room-based, there's tons more options.

    I like Aika Online for it's pvp. It's not that hard to hit the current max lvl of 50, so you can start with pvp'ing fast. The most important part of the PvP are the nation wars. You pick one of the 5 nations and raid the temples of other nations to steal relics which give your nation buffs. There are also castle sieges every week to decide who gets to be the leader of your nation.

    It's also quite new. The North American version is in Open Beta now and the global version is still to be announced.
