You usually do need a lot of friends to succeed at facebook rpgs. But I found a pretty good one that you don't need friends on. Its called Fantasy Online, and theres no download required. Just search it in the fb search bar. Pretty fun, but not much for graphics.

If you're looking for a MMORPG on Facebook, looks like one just got released this month called Monster Fantasy. Mixed reviews because of the loading issues, but the game itself seems pretty awesome. :guitarist:

Can't post the link since I'm new but its there if you look up "Monster Fantasy" in Facebook search.

So I created an RPG for Facebook, and am trying to get new users who might be interested. I don't want to be a big spammer, and am genuinely interested in many of the topics discussed here. That said, this is blatant self-promotion, and censure me as you see fit.

It's called Cheinstein Mountain (can't post a true link here yet because I just registered...)

apps dot facebook dot com slash cheinstein

It's very low-tech, so don't expect any flashing animations. However, I am quite proud of the content, and I really believe it is very individual. The plot is philosophical, ironic, and humorous.

I'd love to hear any comments you may have!

I totally agree! Sometimes you have to look for group boards and it sucks coz you gotta add friends you dont know just to finish a game on fb lol.

Well, the only problem with RPG games on Facebook is the fact that they are way too light to the extent of playing a kindergarten version of an RPG game... I am a lover of RPG games and I haven't found any good RPG games on Facebook yet. Then again, I might be too strict... shrug

Maplestory has a great new game out on facebook called Maplestory Adventures, and you can do a lot by yourself, but having friends does of course help. I don't play the real maple story but they dp have a cross-promotion going on. Play the fb game, get something in The Real one.

I played the FB game. The problem is that I would rather an action game or shooter for something new.
