    Since devs announced that guilds are under development and will be released for players soon, I thought creating a main guild thread in GameOgre.com would be cool.

    You can discuss about guilds, announce your own guild and invite people to it etc.

    I don't really see an importance of guilds in the game, especially right now, unless you could battle together and work as a team on raids or something similar, but there's nothing in the game that really requires an entire guild. Maybe if AE created guild-exclusive features, like guild-exclusive dungeons, or maybe 30-player dungeons then I could see a reason for guilds to exist.

    As for forum guilds, I don't really think it's that necessary. There are social groups, but they're barely used, and the forum community is small enough that there isn't really a need for guilds.

    I'm struggling to see the need for guilds outside of a group of people who already knew each other.
    I started a Dreadfool's Labyrinth guild, thinking that I could maybe invite other chest hunters that I see there on a regular basis. Once the guilds were introduced, they filled up quickly and now everyone I see (except low lvl new players) seem to be in a guild already. It looks like my guild is destined to be small.
