Anyone still plays old school 2D games? NES games?

I have been playing a few oldies from GoG lately like Carmageddon and loving them:).

  4. I play some classic games (or remakes of them like SMB3 for the GBA), but not particularly NES games. And I have some NES (and other virtual console) games on my 3DS, but haven't touched those in a while.

With the exception of platformers, I find it difficult to engage in NES games, usually because of limitations compared to what games are like now. I think Switch Online is great for bringing people to NES games, but I definitely think more can be done for Switch Online (i.e. make classic games more appealing to the current generation of gamers, like what Nintendo did with Super Mario Bros. 35 for Switch Online members).
