    Cross-dressing isn't a new thing and females characters can have beards, so why not let male characters wear dresses?

    I'd personally prefer two completely different models for attires than two of the same models, just because it wouldn't feel like they'd be cutting corners. Managing resources is important, but not everything needs to be fully utilized.

    Probably because it isn't April Fool's day yet, though the team did have a couple of opportunities for that idea. They even had an April Fool's day release dedicated to Drickens, though I think at the time, they just didn't have the resource to create a new weapon model.
