Can someone tell me what program is best for making games?

    Unity is great especially with the asset store where you pretty much can get games bases to start working on.

    A friend of mine used Python but I dont think its good for your health....cause it can bite hard

    If you're new, I think it's best to use Game Maker as it isn't really hard to use. Unity is really good too.
     
  7. Well if you're starting out, I would recommend Game Maker (or some kind of RPG Maker if you're making an RPG). Another option is to create Flash games using Adobe Flash (now Adobe Animate) and learning a bit of Actionscript since Flash games are extremely popular on browser.

    For realistic games I suggest something like Unity and the Unreal Engine

    try RPG maker the new versions are pretty easy to use now it's all you do is generate them and less coding is needed.
