    Take AD first, and as support take tanky runes depend on supp,and AP rune take later you dont need it that much like AP trust me.

    What is Runes

    Runes give your champion a customizable bonus. They come in four different varieties, each of which is specialized to a specific set of stats. Runes are stored in preset pages, so be sure you're satisfied with your setup before you queue!
    Marks

    Marks specialize in providing offensive stat bonuses. They are also the only basic runes that can provide armor and magic penetration. Marks fill the red slots in your runebook.
    Seals

    Seals are best at physical defense, healing, and recovery. This makes them a great choice for some early game durability. Seals fill the yellow slots in your runebook.
    Glyphs

    Glyphs are most powerful when you use them to boost to magical power and defense. They are also the only basic runes that reduce your ability cooldowns. Glyphs fill the blue slots in your runebook.
    Quintessences

    Quintessences grant a substantial bonus to any stat, and can even boost stats such as movement speed that aren't available through other runes. They fill the three large, purple slots in your runebook.

    I dont play adc but for early i think att speed or damage :)
    On bot is bigest battle on start and since 2,3 level support attack enemy adc and then start battle :)
    I more love better att speed on start with bought damage :)

    armor pen is useful early only to several specific champs.
    maybe it was better in some earlier seasons it was preferable to have armor pen but right now your best bets are:

    RED: flat ad
    QUINTS: lifesteal

    RED: flat ad
    QUINTS: attack speed

    RED: flat ad
    QUINTS: flat ad

    but then again, im not much of an adc player, that's just all ive noticed...

    I'm going with armor pen reds on ADCs whose skills scale well with AD (Jinx, Vayne), but going flat AD reds for Tristana or Lucian for example.
    Dunno why actually, but it works good for me, better trades early on.
