Hearthstone Upcoming Expansion: Whispers of the Old Gods

Blizzard has announced the next expansion Whispers of the Old Gods.




The relase date should be aroun late april - early may. At the same time the Standard mode arrives.
There will be 134 new cards. They will be themed around the 4 old gods from the WoW universe: C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, N'Zoth and Y'Shaarj and will feature some corrupted counterparts of known characters.

The card for one of the gods - C'Thun - is already known and there will be 16 cards revolving around making him stronger. When the expansion comes everyone will get C'Thun and 3 card packs for free.


Starting March 14, you’ll be able to pre-purchase a 50-pack bundle of Whispers of the Old Gods card packs for $49.99 USD prior to the Expansion’s official release and get a card back as a reward

My thoughts:
Since C'Thun will be for free i expect everyone and their mom to run C'Thun centric decks which strenght is unknown untill we see the onther cards but i kinda dislike the idea that one card carries the most of decks power. As for the other 3 cards i really don't see much value in them but hey there are over 100 more waiting to be discovered. After all i'm still a noob at Hearthstone so what do you guys think about this?

Paladin seems to be getting a lot of love, specificaly the late game control oriented decks. I'm really excited for the renounce darkness decks.

 

But the 2 mana reducing costs of all those cards by 1 is a really good deal. I think it will be a decent card, kinda random but you can pull up some cool stuff with it
