GW2 is still damn fun. Although I've gotten most of my characters near the end game and I'm only dabbling intermittently in WvW anymore.

Fortunately, GW2 follows a content update cycle where there's something new every 2 weeks. Which means that I can casually drop in and out as I like and see to the new stuff.

Primary issue is that most of it is zerg-content and it's hard to get into without a large group bearing the brunt of the weight. Dungeons are largely inaccessible to me -- so I just follow along with whatever's going on and have some fun.

I have not gone back to the game in a major way since capping 8 characters.

Nail on the head, I've had problems just completing Living World content as we didn't have enough players still doing it on our server, guesting helps but it's still annoying. Not to mention during the giant zerg fests my computer slows to a crawl and I can't see anything because of all the people.

O wells, I still somewhat like the new content but like you I'm mostly just playing it casually these days, I'm hoping an expansion can draw me back in... it's a great world.

You'd still have a huge gear advantage, making mobs a lot easier. Though you wouldn't be able to fight players anyways as PvP scales everyone to 80 but even then you still have a gear advantage over a level scaled 80.

Yea, I get what you mean. Sometimes I feel the same way about it, sucks putting all that time in and then going back to the starting areas and not feeling a huge difference.

Hello ogre, l just hit level 80, and l am very disappointed, there almost nothing to do if you dont buy shole game so l deinstalled game but l still think that this is very fun game with so much easter eggs.
if you want to buy a game go for it its very good

At the end of the day nothing is free. Guild Wars 2 is a buy to play game, the base game going free was to get more people into the game and honestly you get a ton of content for nothing. They don't have a p2w cash shop and revenue is still based around box sales. The free base game is extremely generous, instead of being disappointed you should consider buying a box to support a game it seems you enjoyed or at least be happy with the time you got for $0.
