Who else is annoyed that artix sets a date for a release and it get delayed?

It is pretty annoying and I feel about the same way for my expectations with the October 13th release. I wish they never did set release dates because most of the time releases get delayed and expectations drop. As Cysero used to always say, "as soon as it's ready o'clock", but the release standards have been wonky over the past months. I don't think we can ever expect a total bug-free release anytime soon until AE diligently take their time, but part of the problem is that the AQ3D team is so small. Most game companies face issues of "quality" and Artix Entertainment isn't the first to face that issue. I believe they have the ability to make AQ3D a successful game with a bit of time, but they're just rushing the game currently and that seems to be their biggest downfall so far.

 

Agreed with your post, I'd rather see them release stuff unexpectedly. The same thing happened with the Icy Dungeon release. It was said to release on a Friday but it was secretly pushed to Monday and not many people noticed or reacted. It was kinda confusing cause I thought there was gonna be a new update and nothing ended up happening. At least this time Artix confirmed, but who knows if they'll delay it again lol.

 

yeah sometimes i got dissapointed, but we must understand cause this game is still not full release yet so they may be delay update, bug / glitch, and many others

Sure, they may delay a release all they want, but they shouldn't be putting a release date publicly to the players. There shouldn't even be any excuse since they have a choice to post a release date or not. I think a surprise release with minimal news would have been a better choice for them.

Well of course it's a good thing that it's delayed. A balanced, high-quality, fun release is more important than a rushed release. I think AE has learned that a couple of times after some mishaps during their game development.

 

Hopefully the game is completed before release ;(

 

I do get annoyed but I rather have a non buggy update than half baked update. Artix shouldn't really promise any dates because the team is way too small for any promises.

 

Why would you be annoyed? They are putting so much time and effort in creating this game, cut them some slack!

Im not angry because of the delayed event, I was angry because of the DN he wrote about upcoming update will be tomorrow until his tweet about the event getting delayed. #HypeIsDead.

 

Well it happens time to time that what Artix promises is not going to happen because of changes in plans for content.

I kinda expected this would happen because when it comes to delays that piece of content gets, it isn't surprising to see it get an another delay if it got delayed previously.
