    Just got HD a few weeks ago and the improvement is pretty noticeable. No Blu-Ray, though, but then again there's really no reason to have it unless you have a PS3 or high-end DVD player, as Shade said.

    In my case I don't think they look any different in quality. Maybe there are less "fuzzies" on the screen but besides that I don't recall anything else happening.

    I currently have HD TV Samsung T23C350 and i used to have Philips standard TV (i don't remember the model) as well but my father decided to get rid off it. I honestly wanted to save it just for curiosity to check what it had inside considering it didn't come to my mind to do so and i don't get many chances to do so.
