What do you think about 0.001% drop chance? Midas Curse

Honestly, what's the point of hunting for a 0.001% item, if none of the staff members are going to give us any clues, not even a clue that we can hunt for in the game, like a scavenger hunt? I think it would have been nice if monsters dropped clues that gave us hints to the item and the location of the item.

 

Yeah a scavenger hunt sounds good, if the drop is 0.001% (1/100k chance) then they should at least do a scavenger hunt. I'm just surprised not even 1 person has found it after almost 2 months, I wonder if someone found it but kept the location a secret.

No one has got it to drop yet. I think it would've been a better idea if they made it drop from the Firezard Swarm monsters since they spawn relatively quickly and the AI is aggressive.

 

It's a myth I don't believe it at all. Cysero confirmed the midas drop yes, but the wiki team never updated the information about the drooster which is very suspicious to me.

 

It can fade into obscurity for all I care, thankfully the weapon is a worse color palette of deadly zed so no complaints from me.

 

Well if i cant get the 0.02% drop which is the A Frogzard Ate my Head helm there is no way im gonna farm for the 0.001% drop lol... I did the challenge like 500+ times so no thank you..

 

It may not be on a monster they said it could be fron a repeatable quest

 

The biggest problem is that even if you try to convince one of the AE developers to tell us what the new drop and drop location is, they won't say it, or the hint would be so obscure that it would be a waste of time to try. If it's a 0.001% drop, then why keep the item so secretive; I honestly see that more of a waste of time for players, even if the developers want their players to keep playing their game. Someone did update the Midas' Curse entry on the Wiki today, but I wouldn't take it as absolute confirmation as the person who edited that page most likely wasn't able to obtain the drop.

 

Im farming for it but not as hard as some weeks ago. I'm nowhere near 100k kills, maybe not even 10k, but if it drops i will get it eventually.

 

I really dislike the color of Midas curse, I liked the darkest night sword. Who does not like black and yellow, u know what is black and yellow!

 

I'd doubt it even drops. There's been absolutely no confirmation by any player who have tried for days, and I wouldn't waste my time on farming a Drooster unless I'm absolutely sure it drops.

Well at least it wasn't a weapon such as King's Ransom that was added as a drop. I find that sword to look much nicer than Midas' Curse.
