What rank are you now in Darkhust?

Finally I finish that rank on my alt. Although 'lag' is haunting in that place.

Idk whats the max rank but im done with everything. (NEXT TIME SHOULD BE CHALLENGING LIKE A HARD GRIND)

I am currently max rank and waiting for the black slayer gear (thought we were gonna get them at max rank, guess not)...

Inb4 Shadowslayer W is a bad guy/corrupted and you farm his items from him. Then you take over as the new Shadowslayer of Darkovia

 

With the recent update they added 8 new ranks to the existing ones. All 8 new ranks unlock 1 piece of the Shadowslayer R set and you need to get 768 fangs, 20 blood fangs every time to rank up. So 6144 fangs, 160 blood fangs in total to unlock every item.

Are you guys grinding that?

 

I will be grinding for those ranks because i don't have anything else to do when latest content is concerned for the most part. This grind won't be as painful compared to how previous grind was before AE increased amount of fangs you can get as loot per monster defeated.

 

May current rank is Veteran. I still have 3 items locked in the shop and so far each new rank only unlocked one new item. Some guy told me that the last two ranks unlocked 2 items each but it seems to be false.

Just got Expert rank and and unlike the others before that rank unlocked the last 3 items in the shop. The NPC still offers another quest for the Master Rank, i will try to get it and see if there is any kind of reward.

Edit: Got the final rank, the npc gives no more quests but seems to be no rewards at all.

 

Well the AQ3D team updated the rank quests. For me, it's not really worth it since I'm not a fan of the red set. In fact, the rank quests are very repetitive once you approach novice. Would be nice if there was something more rewarding for doing all of that instead of recolors or reskins.

 

The final reward may be the shadowslayer class, or at very least a epic set. They will probably create more ranks and raise the fang drops again in the next release.

 

Im a shadowskull initiate, hehe , but it's a lot easier to farm fangs from the shadowcrypt dungeon near lightovia. The mobs die easily there, and there are a lot of drops, including the torn book pages, the boss, david, also drops a cool set
