What was the first thing that came into your mind when you play AQ3D

I never played AQW. So it was just another MMORPG to me when I first started. The combat system felt simplistic ... but i liked the farming/collecting focus of the game ... and that it was relatively new (though I do wish I had started earlier)

 

I just happen to see this game on play store, and hook up. Kinda like the game since it is from AE and I used to play the Original Adventure Quest.

 

The first thing that came to my mind is, when I got into higher level, I'll protect and serve as a Dricken Knight to the Newlings in AdventureQuest 3D.

 

Probably the lack of features when the game first came out in early 2014 as AdventureQuest Worlds 3D. I remember when there wasn't a jump feature back then.

 

ahmm.. I'd say that I'll just want to have fun with MMORPGs Game. Then, found this and try out, it was so amazing, now I'm still having fun even though it don't have lots of content for now.

 

I dreamed a "AQW" 3D version for years so the first thing i thought is " Alleluja".

 

when i first started playing Aq3d i thought im gonna get addicted to this game...

 

The very first time i played i just thought: " nope, not my style." Then i came back.

 

Pretty excited since I have played other AE games before.

 

"What? AE doing 3D games!!!!!"

 

Oooh adventure quest, but on 3d. Wow. Seriously thats my first thought

 

The nostalgia and childhood memories

 

It reminds me of when AQW first came out and how closely connected the staff and community still is. When AQW came out MMO's were a new thing to them since they only made RPG's, now it's a 3D game. When AQW first came out the fanbase was mostly from their other games, like AQ3D now, and then something happened which grew their fanbase.

I think there will always be a "division" within AE's fanbase. Not every AQW player likes AQ3D, just like how there were people that played AQ/DF at the time that didn't like AQW and thought it was stealing the spotlight. Now I feel like AQW players feel the same about AQ3D.

Speaking of Akriloth Challenge I just did the glitch hoping to get akriloth's fire blade

 

It took me awhile to like it. I kinda forced myself to like it at first lol. Just because I wanted to like it based on the nostalgia from AQW. I feel like the game could do a better job with the tutorial though, to bring in and keep more players rather than just the loyalists (seems like everyone in AQ3D has played AQW first)

 

Been playing AE games since 2006, still play AQW to this day along side AQ3D. It's amazing to see how Lore has evolved into a fully 3D world. I get the same feeling of wonder I got when playing AQW for the first time during testing back in 2008.

 

My first thought of this game was a big thumbs up because I was former player of aqw and this game was the version 2.0 of it, it brought back some memories ^^
