Artix Map (Green Screen)

Been to both /join artix maps before. The one in AQ3D seems to serve its purpose for video editing, though it can also be useful for photo editing as well since the green is easy to filter out in photo editing software.

is there anything at all in that map? also ... do you ever hit any boundaries?

 

I guess this map is the best place to be alone and screaming xD

I've been to the map and i don't really want to go there again . It hurts my eyes.

 

There are boundaries. I've climbed the wall but there's a ceiling as well so you can't go that high.

 

I did check it out and i would like it to be a solo map so you can get some footage in peace, but you might want to have more people with you too for the same purpose.

 

i've seen green-screens be used for the most amazing backgrounds in movies, hopefully we'll get some good use out of it

 

Going to certain places can alter the lighting of the green screen map. If you enter the green screen map from a place with a lot of environmental effects (like maybe one of the Ashfall maps), you'll see a tint of color. Dimming your monitor could also make the green appear less bright.

It would be interesting to see some "invisible" parkour or something there. Something that feels illusory and confusing.

 

That would be so cool and so frustrating at the same time. Maybe we could get an invisible badge and title? Or maybe we could get the invisible set there?

I now get "invalid access" when I try to go there. So, I guess it's closed now.

Yeah, they made the place inaccessible now. It never really was intended for players to use, but if there's a lot of player demand, maybe they could bring it back. The developers use it, however, for video promos and other stuff involving green screen.
