Feelings about world tree 2

New weapons, new level cap and new rares!! XD

 

Not expecting anything today and haven't really been expecting anything today even though the developers have been wanting to push the Shaman release early this week. The AQ3D team's been pretty inconsistent with release dates, so my expectations aren't so high, though I have heard some possibilities of another parkour area which would be nice to see.

 

Yeah. I saw Cysero's tweet about Syeas "wanting" a parkour release.

 

they have mushroom people and someone posted a picture from what they said is kingdom hearts which have similar-looking clothes, i thought it was nice, ae has made some funny outright parodies in the past

I haven't had time to try it yet ... is there a new parkour challenge? any big boss? exploration badges?

 

Yes new boss challenge and exploration badges but, i think no parkour challenge

 

I just looked at the new craftable items ... grind fest ... bleh

 

I enjoyed the dream plane map, it was different. But I thought we were going to fight the big purple boss.

 

Well ... i assume we are fight it ... just resized ... the tree is there and that purple boss is there .. right? XD

 

Ah yeah i just noticed that lolol.

 

So disappointed that this is just another grind fest ... why on earth would you want your players to redo the same content over and over ... Elemental Aspects requires 90 void bark and hundreds of Elemental Crystals ...

I really hope AE changes their game model ... but I know it isn't likely ...

 

if its not a grindfest can you suggest an alternative?

 

one idea would be to include more ingame puzzles ... that are complicated and random so they cannot be duplicated ... e.g., mazes

there are so many ways to make the game challenging in the proper way ... that doesn't involve killing the same thing 100s of times
