[AQ3D] Custom weapon challenges

Better than them selling custom weapons for more than they were originally worth during the Kickstarter. I know Sly did a 10 million gold challenge until gold farming got exploited during Ashfall. The thing is, challenges are kind of limited since the game doesn't have much options for challenges. There are still a ton of weapon backers who haven't decided what they want to do with their weapon yet, but they're mostly offline.

 

Some of the custom weapon owners already have some plans for releasing them someway for other players to obtain as well. I guess time will tell when those plans come to fruition.

 

There are some people that are trying to makes challenges for the weapons but what makes it so difficult is that there is a high demand for custom weapons.

 

I'm sure there'll be more opportunities (that don't include real world trading or anything like that) as more backers reveal their weapons. It's just the matter of time, and their decision.

 

I do wonder when these challenges will actual start? Maybe next year if things go well?

 

May take longer if the new Kickstarter keeps the team occupied with other things. I wouldn't exactly count on next year knowing that the team has priorities more important than custom weapon challenges, though they may see it as something important enough to be prioritized.

 

It is worth prioritizing, i mean we are talking about Kickstarter backers who helped AQ3D to come to this point in the first place! I can see that AQ3D team has a lot on their plate and it's not surprising why that is the case.

 

Special ways to obtain custom weps would be awesome. I would prefer it though if there was not a set amount of certain custom weps. I like that they added Dia's and Yumi's to chests.

 

I heard from Watercolors that Aries (or Ares?) custom weapon will be in treasure chest as well, I cant wait for it

 

It's Aries. I forgot what her wep is though.

 

I forget to take a ss, but it looks like a double edged dark sword with countless fingers or hands on its hilt

 

Yeah I know, I found it lol. It's the Elohim blade. It's a lit wep but it's a bit too dark for me.

 

Too many for too many people for custom weapons not many people can afford them

 

Custom weapons should try to stay as rare as possible. They should maybe add a few more but make them super hard for a player to obtain, that way not very many people have them.

 

do you mean its expensive? Yeah, 500$ price tag is kinda crazy to deal, but I see some backers sell their variant for 100-300$ price tag, times it 10 code and voila you can get profits so much from it rarity

 

Nah. It's up to the custom weapon owner to decide what they want to do with it. If they want it available to players, that's their choice. If they want it as rare as possible, that's also their choice.
