Hmm, for now they need to focus on the main story.

Some side story example i can think on the top of my head is barrow point.

What else is there?

I dont really read the stories in the game.. they could work on other things like nam said

 

I would rather see the Vane storyline completed before a side storyline appears. However, if the side storyline is in Battleon, then I'd be fine with that.

 

There is going to be more plot with Battleon later and next part for Darkovia is coming too so lets wait for those.

 

That's exactly what I was eluding to. I can't wait to see the Museum, the Pet Shop, the upstairs of the Magic Shop, and everything else in Yulgar's Inn open up.

 

Yeah, side stories would be great. For instance, in Doomwood, they could expand the Nightlocke side story a lot more, maybe having some event occur when you collect all three Nightlocke weapons, and then you'll be able to battle against Lord Nightlocke himself to learn more about Doomwood or whatever. In Darkovia, they could have a major side story that explains the Book of Darkov and the Ancient Evil, like through cinematics and side-story exclusive adventures. They could add Guardian-exclusive side stories where the Seekers play a more significant role that ties in with each Guardian Tower in the saga maps (Ashfall, Darkovia, Battleon). More side stories, especially with significant events, would add a lot of immersion to the game.

 

Now that i think about it, Yes, some parts of the story needs some more in-depth story clarification.

I wonder if Malek is gonna be part of the Vane storyline.

Or maybe just completely scrap it or will be a sidestory.

 

There are things that could be explained lore wise because some of them feel lacking.

 

I dont really read the story line of every quest in game. I dont even care about thr story tbh ilr just need to understand what will be my objective to finish my quest. And to achive goal

 

Yeah, the story is a mess right now with many inconsistencies (typos, mistakes, etc.) and radically different revisions (Sargoth the Necromancer no longer being the villain in Doomwood, Greenguard story no longer about magic stirring trouble in the Greenguard monsters, etc.). I mean you can still make sense of stuff, but at the same time, it's not fun reading the story when you see a bunch of mistakes and major revisions that take away the original story. The most recent example of the story having mistakes is Granemor (what the mayor was called before the Darkovia Castle storyline) being referred to as Granemore and Constantin (that's the character's name in AQ Classic and AQWorlds) being referred to as Constantine.

 

There sure is a consistency with their names because for whatever reason they decided add letter E to both of their names to the end of them. The story is pretty right now with old areas so AE has some cleaning up to do and that's going to take some time. I really want them to bring Sargoth back with Doomwood revamp!
