    I'm wondering if people still actively play Wizard101. Since Celestia and critical were added, it's been dying. So, for those of you who have played Wizard101 before, why did you leave? For the people who still play Wizard101, why do you still play?

    lel i played it & pirate 101 but then P2P is never my choice so yeah after hitting that rock of not being able to play anything else beside free areas i left and deleted the game for good :blackalien

    Played it back in 2008. The game was extremely popular. I'll even assume people who grew interested in MMORPGs around that time probably played Wizard101, Runescape, World of Warcraft, or Final Fantasy XI as their first game.

    I used to see ads for it and I played through the intro, selected my class and all, but when it came down to installing the game, I just downloaded it but never installed it. I guess that was a sort of a deal-breaker for me, that it wasn't playable in the browser but required an installation. Sort of a shame, really. The character creation process was inviting and the name of the game is a good invention. It makes people think Harry Potter without being a copyright breach.
