    Why don't just make respawning players has invincible status for 1-3 seconds to run around and to make it fair, when this invincible status is up, players can't attack or using skill at all, just for running to avoid the gang bang. Some heavy based PvP MMO games use this method.

    That could work but first they need to actually release the PvP for everyone so we can see what the finished version is like. We are still in the fairly early live stages.

    I still think AE needs to find a better way to balance classes. If someones using pirate and you're using a close range class like warrior or guardian you lose a ton of health before you even get close enough to attack.

    We need more than just PvP, like maybe a special game mode that involves PvP. Like capture the flag or something.

    Yeah, having more modes is going to make PvP feel more varied.

    Most PvP based MMOs solve it by giving melee classes a mobility skill such as teleportation, anti-stun skill, etc. And it's not rare to see a kind of shield for those melee classes especially slow tanker class to endure long range barrage attacks till they reach their enemies and whack their heads :D

    We got got sprint cross skill for mobility, but we don't have a teleportation skill or CC-breaking skills yet.

    I can't really call sprint as mobility skill since it's still useless in PvP (PvE too). Long cooldown, short duration, and the worst it's still stun-able, so yeah....

    I sprint, he thundered me, I stop, I died lol

    Not everyone uses sprint so you get free distance from your opponents if they don't react and not every does. You can also use it aggressively to get close and nuke someone with your hard hitting skills or your ultimate. Sprint is a very good cross skill in PvP and but it's more situational in PvE. You died? No problem because you can use it again soon.

    The pirate class seems pretty unbalanced in my opinion. The range advantage and quick cool-down periods offer them a more distinct advantage when compared to other classes.

    Pirate does feel pretty strong because of those cooldown resets and those skills do hit hard.

    except you need to reload sometimes...

    And not to mention his anti-mobility skill is its ultimate skill that is hard to spam, except you have necromacer cross skill.

    You can slow with Flank Shot and slows play a big role in PvP. Reloading can be made faster by reaching rank 8 with it.

    That flak shot is kinda RNG based, so you cant really rely on it.
    I just realized you can reload faster after rank 8 lol, maybe because I rank my pirate to lvl 10 instantly with class token made me not realize it.

    Pirate relies on RNG to begin with to get those cooldown resets and those crits with that passive. You will sometimes get all the things you wanted and sometimes you won't. Consistence is not something pirate excels at so you won't always get that slow with flank shot and you don't always get a chance to use it when you want to slow your opponent.
