    A novice tour system

    I think that adding a novice tour system is a good idea. If you can create a video containing all the basic information about this forum and earning points, then I think that it will help people like me who just joined in this forum.

    honestly i think the avatar size is fine the way it is and remember bigger avatars also means bigger loadtimes. Not that I have a problem with that, but I bet there are some gameogre members out there with a bad connection.

    The avatars have been increased since it was requested in this thread. Thought about changing my avatar to a Living Avatar, but the bigger size does not show up well in the Ogre Wars private forums.

    Kinda like a quick tutorial of where you should post.

    OR

    maybe with the (i think its automated) message you get when you join...you could include some links. such as! the introduction link. but this is just a suggestion =p

    i think that's a good idea and perhaps also a bigger faq list. The real problem is that there are so many links. I already had someone ask in chat today if there is a search feature on the forum. There is of course, but I can understand that, if you are new, it may be difficult to find it.

    well ogreman may not be able to control this..but the "search" function for gameogre needs to be much better. It may be just VBulletin though...but I search something as "game" for STRICTLY thread titles. and I get something like signature creations.... :( makes finding old threads kinda hard. but once again, don't know if ogre can change this.

    Try using the advanced search. It allows much finer searching. Also try using " " marks for exact searches.

    I believe that the Forum Games section should be trimmed. It messes up my New Posts page :-/
