We all know that shooter games got guns and melee weapons, but what about the movement? How important is it when you consider everything else you got control over?

  2. Well considering that the genre is shooters (specifically any type of action shooter game like first-person shooter games and third-person shooters), hand-eye coordination is a vital part of gameplay. Even something like low frames per second (or frame drops) could mess a player up, because of how the human eye responds to movement. But I think controls are just as important as movement; you don't want to press A on a controller and wait for a weapon to fire 3 seconds later because of terrible calibration. When it comes to hand-eye coordination, the hand is important for the control of the game while the eye is important for reading the movements on the screen. And I think you could even apply that logic to just action games in general like fighting games, because action games are really all about hand-eye coordination.
