HELLDIVERS 2 PlayStation Account Link Requirements Upsets Fanbase

Regarded as one of the best games of 2024, HELLDIVERS 2 has recently taken a dive after requiring users to start linking to a PlayStation Account. The game's community has reacted to this change leaving negative Steam reviews and requesting refunds. Many people have voiced concerns about this new change pointing out that some countries lack service for PlayStation, the addition of new policy after the game's has been out (past the time window for refund) is unreasonable, and that games shouldn't be forced into one ecosystem.
