WoW is getting too easy?

I've actually been playing World of Kung Fu lately, it's F2P and is pretty fun. It's not like WoW, you can't sit down and play for hours, or you'll be bored to death, however, it's good for those 15-30 minutes that you have to sit down and play a game, which is perfect for me. I've also been thinking out of getting into Age of Conan, it looks really fun, and in my opinion, the trial sparked my interest WAY more than WoW ever did. You said you didn't mind paying to play, so why not give AoC a shot? You can get Hyborian Adventures for only $10, then its $15/month, pretty much the same as WoW. There's also Runes of Magic from the world of free games, bit like WoW, you might enjoy that as well.

 

Deathknights and patches helped to make WoW easier than it was. I doubt that it is too easy though. Try the free trial of Darkfall if you want something challenging.

 

HeHE, glad I dropped WoW when I did. I payed WoW for around 5 years, and I remember back in the day when we needed groups for Stromgarde, etc, alot of other areas, that used to house Elites, hell even a quest to kill the Elite giant that wanders around Arathi Highlands, Which is not an elite anymore, aswell as several other places, not just Arathi, but allover.

Blizzard dropped so many Elite areas and NPC's, and made them non Elite so players, if they want, can solo there way through alot of it. Hell I had a Fury warrior that I was able to Solo from level 1 to 70 which was caps at the time. then 70 to 80 after wraith all in around a 6 month window. Before all the Elites being change to Non I had a rogue that was around 42 level which took a lil over a year for me just to hit 42. That was me playing 15 hours on the weekends, and around four hours every week day. for my rogue.

I think WoWs community which is one of the worst out there no offence to the handful of WoWs community that realy gave a shit for others. I think the community is just a younger audience then it use to be. Blizzard made everything easier and user friendly for the kids.. More and More adults pop out kids on a daily bases anymore. Well with everything going up who can afford to go out to eat, movies, or just even spending a day at the shore or casinos with your signifficant other? So adults will do the dirty to pass the time.

When they have there kids they will claim them for a higher income tax check return so the adults can afford to do the above. So Blizzards bright idea was, more kids = more money for them, so lets make World of Warcraft extremely user friendly for the kids.

Anyway I rambled to much already. Yes WoW is to easy, now so, more then ever, anyone can stick a pieace of gear on, in WoW and call themelves epic. I think Runes of Magic will satisfy your WoW needs. The gear is alot more customazation. in WoW they got the Common White text gear that usualy goes to vendor trash, in RoM you can take that White Text gear and stat the hell out of it to make as good, if not better then the Epic Purple text gear RoM has, and sell it for just as much in AH. Crafting in RoM down right stinks though, although you do not have a max on secondary crafting skills. WoW only allowed two Crafting Secondaries and 1 of the three passive skills like, Fishing, Cooking, and First Aid.

In RoM there is no fishing or first aid, but you can learn all of the other crafting skills like Herbalism, armor crafting. weapon crafting, mining, Etc. If you want.

RoM is f2p if you want it to be = no subscription = no commitment, They have an Item mall that helps you speed your gaming experience up. Mounts are any level but you have to use item mall to purchase permenant ones, or just keep renting them in game with game gold, but that gets exspensive fast. Just wait on the developers to do diamond special events on some weekends. Diamonds are the Item Malls currency. The Develpoers have double Diamond weekends on occassion. So a $10 dollar card that you pick up at a Wal-mart, Walgreens, Target, or 7eleven, and some video game outlet stores. will give you 400 Diamonds instead of the usual 200 Diamonds. It takes close to 400 Diamonds to buy a permenant mount which can be used for your toon either being a level 1 or a level 58, and 10$ isn't that much money to round up for anyone.

 

F2P games with item malls seem to be becoming big now.

 

WoW is easier than it used to be. Too many casual players griped and moaned to make it that way. Just adding the death knight made it way easy. DKs have plant, can aoe, have pets, and can heal themselves. Get real.

I would like to know what else to play besides RoM too.

WoW got so easy because they practicallly throw gold at you , and random dungeons means you always get a group

 

Cataclysm will likely makes things harder for time.....maybe. Blizz is going more and more casual all the time.
