    Ogreman, something that I've run into--IMO the PM limit is harsher than it should be. I know it's supposed to be part of the reduced privileges, but I always have more than 15 PMs stacked up, and a number of them are usually important. The last time this happened I had to scrap almost 300 messages in order to contact you. Just sayin'. :)

    The number of PMs can adjusted if really needed, but the whole idea is to make people want to leave the Pit as soon as possible:).

    It looks like the Pit has angered a few long time members. That was not the intention of the Pit. It was meant to serves as sort of a wake-up call to get people more active than they have been recently for whatever reason such as school, work, vacation, personal stuff etc. This has worked for some members who emerged from the Pit without taking it personal. While a few others seemed to have gotten mad and not returned. Either way, the Pit is still a necessary evil due to possible abuse of points and cards. Point or no points, somebody who has been gone for months does not deserve a card more than somebody who is here all the time and part of the community. This goes the same for new members who try to get a card in a few days never to return. The whole idea of the point system is for the active community. That said, the Pit should be looked at as a friendly nudge in the right direction:).

    Sending me a PM and becoming active again is the best way to leave the Pit:).

    BTW, may expand the PM box size since Quinn had an issue with that recently.

    Ok, the Pit picked up a few, released a few, and sent a warning or two lol.

    Keep in mind that logging in without posting will probably not save you from this temporary fate unless you are still actively participating in Ogre Wars or the Arcade.

    Ok, please do not ask to be taken out of the Pit if you are just going to vanish again lol. The idea is to be a little active first, ask to be removed, and then to stay after that:).

    Yeah, you have to actually be at least semi-active again to get and stay out of the Pit. Otherwise, have to put you back in.

    The probably is that the current point system rewards people from when they sign up and the Pit is a measure against that.
