Anyone knows a good and free Video editor?

    im looking a good video editor that i can use for my current project.

    its basically a video of my gaming experience in War of Angels, my fraps only records about 3mins per vid, i would like to combine clips to make 1 video.

    so can anyone suggest me a good and free video editor?. I would certainly appreciate it.

    Im not sure about a free editor, I usually use Camtasia, Power Director Pro 7, or Photoshop to edit videos.

    However if your tired of using fraps which has a limit on how much you can record you should try Camstudio. Camstudio is free, has no limit on how long you can record, and has no watermarks. It also uses less resources than fraps. Its what I use personally :D

    sony vegas its very nice but no free like he says, but Windows movie maker is FREE and u can male a very nice vids :)

    you can edit vidz on Photoshop? o_O? i have cs3 and cs5 portable can i use those? can you teach me? sensei!

    can't find microsoft movie maker. it says its on the update list but when i check i can't find it there T_T.

    i'll check Camstudio, and autoscreenrecorder. got no more money to buy sony vegas XD.

    You can but you are limited. You cant add music/sound effects for example, and its not very good if its a very long video.

    However I find if your good with photoshop its great for adding overlays, effects, text and more graphic type work.

    If you go under File when you open photoshop there should be an option on that list to import video, or for smaller videos you can important frames into layers.

    video editor.....? well Windows Movie Maker is free.

    Camtasia Studio used to be free, now you have to torrent it or buy it.

    Sony Vegas Pro is the best, but you have to buy or torrent it.


    Those 3 are also organized in order of easiest to use to hardest.

    I also use camtasia to use .gif images :)

    no you cannot. it is strictly a screen recorder that makes huge file sizes for recording but come out in great quality with the exception of the word "fraps" in the middle of the screen.
