Due to safety precautions or w/e just from any possibility of my massively powered weapons and pets on all of my chars, I have decided to delete them.

I'm going to try and get my weapons and pets myself the best I can...excluding the robot I have right now ofc =p. I traded my friend for his old staff and such for a robot. Robots are the new awesome thing now because of their damage i guess =p.

I know my armor is all safe because the stats are fair and they are only at 1/1## cheapo armor

Robots? When did these start appearing? Not sure if I have seen one or not.

new level cap is 78. I dont feel like playing it though. Maybe when they add more story that isn't DLC that you have to pay for =p

Thus, premium DLC killed the enjoyment of the game for you?

The DLC is pretty cheap, about 1-5 dollars per. It could be a lot worst. Could be 20 per like how Microsoft does with the 360 dlc.

They went way overboard with DLC, the price is nice but they have so many of them it's pretty ridiculous. Without bundles, all of the DLC combined comes out to $45.

Well, they do have bundles every now and then. Especially around the holidays when each DLC is like 20-30 cents. Personally, I like it. They have cheap DLC, and a lot of it, the game is fun to play, great co-op, it keeps you from getting bored. ^^

But it's not cheap and that's the problem. They may only be $1.99-4.99 but the amount of them still equals $45. They just cut the content into smaller pieces to give the appearance of being cheaper.

Late response but yea. If the game is going to rely on DLC for a majority of the game play it's not something I want to delve my time into.

DLC should be cosmetic items, skins, themes, music, stuff like that. Stuff that doesn't affect the plot/gameplay of a game but makes you say 'A:eek:oh. what costume is that? B: Evangeliel Costume A: I want it! Where can I get it? B: DLC' and that's how the game developers should be making $ imo. Because people like cosmetic stuff sometimes.

Adding dlc that takes up for over half the gameplay/grinding experience when you enjoy it just makes it seem like they are forcing you to buy it to experience the full game.

Too much DLC that takes away from the current game is bad.

I think adding DLC helps the game, keeps it alive. And it's doing well. ^^

The DLC also fragments the player base between those who have the DLC areas/levels, and those who don't. In a social game like Dungeon Defenders, a fragmented player base is death.

New levels should be free. They should make a big deal about new content releases, get players who drifted away back into the game.

Cosmetic stuff should be DLC. Theme packs, full of clothing items and special skins. Maybe with a little dress-up room so you could build your character's outfit.

They can probably do something with those player stores, too. I think there's money to made in that.

Player housing. They've got the Tavern, should have an option for a custom room. Of course, with DLC theme packs to decorate it. Show off your trophies and goodies in style.

    Just a few thoughts.
