Manga vs. Anime

    So, I'm just wondering what you guys prefer the most. Manga or Anime? And why? XD

    I prefer Anime. I don't really read a lot of Manga, since I'm too lazy :< Anime is more fun since there are sound, colors and movement xD Although I think there are too many fillers in anime :p

    Yup i prefer anime too it moves me and enjoyable to watch :D

    In my opinion people read manga to compare it to the released anime you know one of natural traits of human being if you are one :p is to compare and compare :rolleyes: besides i think anime originated from manga that what they usually say :eek:

    As you can observed some movies are from books series like Harry Potter, Hunger games, X-men movies, Number 4, Angels and Demon, Da Vinci code and a lot more same as some tv shows i say on children part like little women, tom sawyer, the secret garden and more ;)

    Yeah, Anime is definitely more realistic than Manga. Books don't have sounds or movements, you'll have to picture it for yourself :p

    Ye you will have to use your imagination if you read Manga instead of taking it all on the plate served when you watch Anime :p

    I chose option "Both" because Anime was made from Manga and Manga has true story line while in Anime you get to many times intercepted with fillers loosing the sight of what is the main point. I mean come on, everyone who watched those more popular ones had to sigh all the time when in the middle of the great story they put filler arc that is 30-50 episodes long for no good reason xD
    Then again without Anime we would wait for ages to see Sharingan, Super Saiyan, zanpakuto realse and other EPIC moments in color.
    I mean who here read Manga before watching Anime and was always asking "how did that Sharingan actually look like?" and putted your own colors in their eyes thinking "it must be this one cause it is coolest one!" but at the end you wanted to see what the writer chose it to be :)

    You can say it in simple terms:
    Manga = books for Harry Potter / Lord of the Rings etc.
    Anime = movies for Harry potter / Lord of the Rings etc.

    Some things are left out some things are made up however Manga lets you use your full imagination which is wonderful (at least for me since i`m mostly in dreamland when listening to the music xD) while Anime charms it up for you by already showing how things REALLY look like.

    We could discuss this on and on and on, but i`ll leave you with this:
    It would be a shame if you just watched Anime without reading Manga or other way around cause you will miss some things that you would enjoy very much if you did both ;)

    Seems like Anime is the most popular. Even though I normally don't read manga anymore, that's what I started with. Started with books of Yu-Gi-Oh! and later on Naruto and Astro Boy. That was a long time ago though, and it was a while since I read manga ever since I found anime xD

    Hmm, so I'm of the rare ones that prefer Manga over Anime?
    Well, no surprise there.

    even thou manga has no color most of the time it usually describes characters deeper and has "another dimension". I usually don't even watch Anime made from Mangas I read, because..you know..Spoilers. Anime first, manga afetr you need more C:

    No fillers either, expect those common on beach/bath/sport episodes/chapter every Manga/Anime has.
    And few other reason :D

    I prefer Anime than Manga because Manga is so boring when I try to read the whole book but when in Anime all you need to do is watch.
