    Whoa, awesome that the formula stuff behind it has finally been found out/revealed.

    At Hamr, it's simply a visual thing. Your activity bar isn't any different besides just appearing to be shorter.

    I'm not exactly sure what the activity award involve. Obviously the posts. I think it have something to do with the average posts per day, within a time and not overall. Might have something to do with the forum points too x_x

    The activity award part of the discussion should really move over here, for when someone goes looking for answers again later.
    Anyway, the activity award comes entirely from the activity bar. Everyone from 99% and up is ordered in priority of posts per day. The system does this so there's only one person at the top. Right now it's dancing between darkboy and polanwalker because they are within .05 of the same posts per day count. It'll settle down eventually.

    You have a two post per day average, Joker. Thus, if you post two or more posts a day your bar would increase. There may even be a certain average that keeps your bar full, but not exactly sure what that is yet.

    Don't worry when it means anything (like Activity Bonuses) 99 is considered 100. It's kinda bias towards newer members by using overall posting average to rank 99 order rather than just the last 21 days like it does when figuring the actual number. It's obviously a lot easier to average a high number of posts over a few months than say a few years.

    Yeah basically it works like this, all the members with full activity bars are scored 100% and then it tiebreaks using lifetime post average arranging the users highest to lowest and scoring each 99.9... 99.8... 99.7 etc, the one at the top of list is scored 99.9% and is awarded the medal.

    I also noticed the activity bar can dive fairly quick if somebody who was very active starts slowing down posting all at once and still logs on.

    This was asked in chat so going to address it again. If you log on and just look around without posting a lot it could will your bar even when you do decide to post lol. There have been many times where somebody has posted and it has dropped. The reason is that it goes by posts per day. Thus, a post or two is not going to help that especially if you were once very active in posting. Do not know the best average for the formula, but 5 posts a day is probably the safest bet for the bar. Think we have enough threads and areas to make that not too difficult:).
