    Linux, more open, more widely used for very important backend stuff all around the world. Mac really doesn't have much more gaming support than Linux does so other than it's being a more widely accepted alternative to Windows it's really not all that different in my opinion.

    As far as OS goes, in my opinion Linux is better but if I had to pick one I'd probably pick Mac that way I'd have OSx and could still install Linux on it. :)

    Well if you think about picking linux for older computer, then pick older version of windows..
    I used mac before but i dont like it.... Havent tried linux thought... Just sticking with my w7 :)
