Darkfall?

    i didn't see much about this game anywhere on this forum strangely. Darkfall's undergoing huge changes lately. I highly suggest for people to check it out, there's a lot of new stuff and old issues resolved.

    Features for those who don't know:

    FPS style targetting... no tab/click+autolock-spam

    Control/build/siege/destroy cities/hamlets.

    No levels, just skills to learn and train up.

    Huuuge seamless world (would take hours to walk/swim from edge to edge)

    FFA PVP, attack anyone anywhere (guard towers in NPC cities help curtail it a little, tho it's still able to happen)

    Huge naval battles... small rafts to 6+ story 50+ cannon ships.

    Due to gear loss/degradation, crafting and the economy are two huge parts of the game.

    Own your own home with a bank, merchant to sell your goods, space for your friends to 'bind', slot machine, resource nodes, etc...

    Kill a player off of his mount, then hop on the mount and ride away (after looting all of his gear/inventory/gold off of his tombstone!)

    After the last patch, they can now truthfully state advanced mob AI. For an MMO, there's nothing like it, especially since if you factor in FPS.

    I love Darkfall. It's really the only MMORPG out that has what I need.

    Darkfall is not for everyone. It will drive most casual gamers crazy to be honest. However, if you need that fast paced pvp, and epic battles with a very deep meta game, Darkfall is the only game.

    I might have to write a review here for the gameogre ppl.

    Darkfall certainly breaks all the rules about MMORPG creating that was established by Everquest and WoW. :)

    Yeah the game is rediculously fun. Just the other day my clan was shuttling me to the other continent where our clan city was. We ran into a kraken in the water, our driver died, and i had to drive us to safety! Was hilariously fun!

    Just visit their website, reading their list of features already makes you think that Darkfall is a UNIQUE game.
