    Hey there guys
    I've played a lot of hard,easy,fun,boring modpacks
    And im curious to see what you guys are playing and
    how experienced are you in mods
    I'm pretty good with mod packs i would rate myself
    7/10
    I've played following modpacks

    Feed The Beast Unleashed

    YogCraft Pack
    RPG Immersion Pack
    Feed The Beast Lite
    Magic World
    Tech World
    PAX Challenge Pack
    Slow's Stream Pack
    Tekkit Classic
    FTB Challenge Packs i cant remember all
    Technic pack
    Yogscast Pack on tekkit
    And more
    I'm more exp with like 1.5 and less
    than new versions cuz many new mods are rapidly coming up and
    i dont play as much as i did before

    If you play with many mods its like a upgrade to minecraft with many more goals
    and more quests and its way more time than just find a diamond and you completed all well dragon killing
    but theres like hardcore mod where you need to kill super strong dragon
    theres Twilight forest with like 3 new bosses etc.

    i played a few modpacks, namely:
    blood and bones - very fun and extremely hard
    and
    feed the beast - not much to say about it, a bunch of mods, some are kinda unbalanced imo.

    after those experiences i usually set out to make my own small modded servers to play on with my friends. i recently started a 1.7.2 vanilla server and now i decided to add a few mods to it like thaumcraft and twilight forest to spice up the game a bit, nothing much.

    current goals: make a quartz tower-citadel and break that record for a longest minecart rail of 50.000 blocks in survival...

    twilight forest got updated, it has 6 bosses now that i know of, more will be added in upcoming versions.

    I see only 1 downside in mods with friends which is same with normal minecraft
    The only way you can have no fun with friend in minecraft is
    are you ready for it
    almost there!
    Because they dont know how to play it!
    otherwise its amazing both without and with mods :hz:
    But its amazinger with mods if they know :) :troll:

    I've had a good experience with modpacks in the past but... In all honesty I enjoy the game without mods more :D

    I try to avoid using mods and modpacks for Minecraft just because I don't like installing them, but I would if it caught my attention. They're usually fun to play with, but nowadays, it's all about command blocks.

    Well if you ask me, i'm more likely to use modpacks, the game is better with them and funnier to play, instead of playing with regular Minecraft you can change it so it looks even better.
