Which game are you most excited about that is to be released in 2010, or an Expansion.
    As far as I know:
Guild Wars 2 (Maybe) FFXIV, Star Wars the old republic are going to be released this year.
But the one I'm Most Excited about is TERA The Exiled Realm of Arborea. Their Slogan is "The Next -Gen MMO" and from the beta gameplay it really looks that Way. The combat is like the one in DDO so you Aim with a crosshair to attack.
Full open world, Open Pvp, Instances, and yeh just looks great. :)

    FFXIV, cos it's final fantasy.

Star Wars Old Republic will probably be great, it's described as 'the MMO for people who don't like them'. It's made by Bioware so will probably have an in-depth story, and an in-depth world as well.

Guild Wars 2, Maybe Starcraft 2 (only problem is being a MMORTS) I am not to crazy about Real time Stratgedy games, but the game is introducing a Blizzard Entertainment new 3d graphics engine. If I get back into WoW the new Catalyism Expansion that increases WoW level caps from 80 as of now to 85 and 2 new races.

I am done with WoW. Damn game is too addictive. The only reason I quit is a fun story:p.

Anyway, is there an upcoming MMORPG that could be as good as WoW?

MAG has been released, and it would be awesome if you could find 255 other players willing to all cooperate on each team, and play the game like it should be played. If you play with strangers, then most likely no one will listen to anyone, and it'll soon descend into typical online multiplayer FPS play, just without the awesomeness of games like Battlefield or Cod.

"then most likely no one will listen to anyone"

    "multiplayer FPS play"

This is so true. alot of MMOFPS games usually fall into the catagory of it being just a typical FPS.

I was a Hardcore MMOFPS awhile back, and I seen alot of the FPS games fail, because everybody thought for themselves( a typical reaction to Multi Play Games, which can not be interceppted, Why? cause its the internet, thats why)

An Example: Battlefield 2 (EA, and Dice) Battlefield 2 had a killer squad set up in game when players where able to us -VOIP- [voice over internet protcol] where if you where in a squad you where able to talk to your squadmates through a microphone. But the problem was no one ever listen to there squad leader, some people just acted out on there own wil. Kinda stinks cause the games Squad Physics where top notch, and only a few group of people took advantage of the games squading. I seen squads doominate the Battlefield and won the round for our team at a quick pace.

the squads where grouped to a max of six players. But a good squad in the game was a force to be reckened with. If the players listen. But 80% of the time people just act alone, in a squad or not.

I say a overal good surge squad in Battlefield 2 was.

Heavy assualt-was able to refill squad players ammo. Squad leader usualy took this role. Great for laying covering fire.

    Anti-Tank

2 Light Assualts-Typical Grunt. Carried Flashbang grenades.

2 Medics-Where abble to Difibulate players back to life if killed, also was able to refill players health by droping Medic Packs for them. The uniquie thing about the defibulaors ingame. Not only where they able to revive, but can kill.

I took the role of Medic a few times and I use to love sneaking up on enemy snipers and Difibulate them to death. What was cool is the Medic always yelled "Clear!" seconds before he used them. So the enemy sniper heard the word "Clear!" before he died. lmao good times. Chaulk up yet another difibulate kill for my medic.
