Ok, I think an Ogres Hall would be a nice touch.
tress sound about right two.
Can we build an Ogre City there?
I think it would be best to suggest a genre/theme for the game, if that haven't been done yet. Will the game be set in future, medieval time or what? Would be hard to suggest anything to add to the game, if we don't know what game it would be. I mean would be just weird to suggest a spaceship if it's set in the past.
@ogre : yeah we can do it from there I thank.
3D Game Project is game for gameogredotcom community and i dont see the reason why we should kickstart it. Who would pay for that? Nobody probably.
And yes we can make a castle
That depends on what the game can do, Wicked. If we can create something unique who knows what is possible.
I dont think we can make something special in Unity. Graphic are gross in Unity Engine.
Kerbal Space Program, Surgeon Simulator, Slender, Thomas Was Alone just to name a few would like a word with you lol. These four are some of the most unique and "special" games released in the last 5 years, all made in Unity. Graphics can help and hurt a game but rarely make or break it.
Yeah but we are using free version of Unity and we dont have that much skill to make a good graphic.
If the game is good, the game is good. Minecraft is a prime example. Don't fall into the trap of putting the cart in front of the horse. Make the game first, focus on making the best game you can... just pretend it has good graphics. If the game isn't fun with bad graphics then it's not gonna be any better with the best in the world.
Once you have a game, then start thinking about graphics... if what is made is good then maybe it worth looking into ways to get better graphics or make what is available better but until the game exists it's kinda pointless to invest in something that might just change or never happen period.
Told Noche about this game so hopefully he will help out some too.
Saw my first Social Game that used Unity this week. It was a Viking game.
Did you liked?
I bet he did, unity is awesome.
Yes, it is a fun game.
BTW, started a developer on a 3D Game this week. It will only be one level though.
What do we do now for this project?
I'll talk to wicked.
Ever heard for game called Shround of the Avatar....the game is made in Unity engine and am trying to figure out how to make game with same graphic
