    Good Ahri player will always win against Vel'koz on mid.Traki as you said she can easily dodge him :) ,but I think Ahri can't offer too much in teamfights.Vel'koz can,because of his ult and he has 2 CC too :) ,so my point is:Ahri is better 1v1,Vel'koz is better in teamfights.
